UNCIPAR gets its name from "Unión de Cineistas de Paso Reducido" - the Argentinian moviemaking club which established it in 1972. It has developed since then into several related events for non-commercial film. It takes place in Villa Gesell.

Our Spanish is limited but this competition specializes in films under 30 minutes long.They should have been made since 2010, may be on any subject. Entries should initially be on DVD in PAL format for pre-selection. If chosen for screening they would prefer DV or MiniDV copies.

The main prize is the kit and materials to make a 16mm or HD video production.
