usual arrangements

This festival is organised by SCCA (Society of Canadian Cine Amateurs). It accepts movies up to 30 minutes long but they must be on DVD in PAL or NTSC format. Films should have been completed in the last two years. There are sections for Amateurs, Students, Film Students, and Independent Professionals.

Fees: All entries from outside Canada pay in US dollars. Amateurs - $20. Independent Film Maker $40. Student on an official course $25.

They put the emphasis on the competition more than the public screening of the winners. Entries have to be in by the end of June, judging takes place in the Autumn and results are announced around the end of the year. The public screenings and award presentations take place in the early months of the following year.

Please check the rules, entry form and address carefully.
