Museum - mainly about commercial forms of widescreen but with an
amateur section too.

Association - for n-c moviemakers - website needs updating but
the information is good.

- focus is on tv, DVD but many interesting articles and some fascinating
clips such as Martin Scorsese, Curtis Hanson, Sydney Pollack, and Michael
Mann explaining why widescreen movies should only be shown in widescreen.

Net - a web-based community of non-commercial film makers, with
a cinema and competitions. Founded for Scandinavian, British and German
moviemakers it now welcomes all enthusiasts.

Central - all you need to know about creating podcasts and the
technology behind that process.

Website - packed with fascinating art of all types and some stunning
movies. A community of creative people. (Check out the sample movie in

Force Net forums - where the fan film community share ideas, hints,

Youth

Reel Youth
- Canadian-based group encouraging young people to make videos about issues
they consider important. Their international ventures in India and Nepal
have produced some very touching movies. They also organize a tour of movies
by young people. Whatever else you do today - visit their site and watch
the movie Goonda on their front page. You may be moved - as
I was - to go straight to their Donate link.
