Film Schools - Worldwide

Worldwide film schools directory - just what it says, a directory of contacts and websites.

Widescreen

American Widescreen Museum - mainly about commercial forms of widescreen but with an amateur section too.
Australian Widescreen Association - for n-c moviemakers - website needs updating but the information is good.
Widescreen.Org - focus is on tv, DVD but many interesting articles and some fascinating clips such as Martin Scorsese, Curtis Hanson, Sydney Pollack, and Michael Mann explaining why widescreen movies should only be shown in widescreen.

Internet

Geek News Central - all you need to know about creating podcasts and the technology behind that process.
Deviant Art Website - packed with fascinating art of all types and some stunning movies. A community of creative people. (Check out the sample movie in our Students Section.)
The Force Net forums - where the fan film community share ideas, hints, tips and new work. (Check out the sample trailer in our Students Section.)

Youth

Reel Youth - Canadian-based group encouraging young people to make videos about issues they consider important. Their international ventures in India and Nepal have produced some very touching movies. They also organize a tour of movies by young people. Whatever else you do today - visit their site and watch the movie Goonda on their front page. You may be moved - as I was - to go straight to their Donate link.
