LIMM first met in the Nineteen Fifties in a Lynbrook Library on Long Island.
The club is the oldest movie making club on Long Island. We started when
16mm and 8mm film were used. Now it is nearly exclusively for videos. Enthusiasts
who use any format, or editing system are welcome.
MISSION: To provide instruction, encouragement, and an audience, within a
friendly and informal environment, to the amateur who wants to become a better
moviemaker and advance the love of movie making.
