The Long Island Movie Makers (LIMM)

LIMM first met in the Nineteen Fifties in a Lynbrook Library on Long Island. The club is the oldest movie making club on Long Island. We started when 16mm and 8mm film were used. Now it is nearly exclusively for videos. Enthusiasts who use any format, or editing system are welcome.

MISSION: To provide instruction, encouragement, and an audience, within a friendly and informal environment, to the amateur who wants to become a better moviemaker and advance the love of movie making.

Next meeting Wednesday 12th October 7.30pm for the annual Two-Minute Film contest..

Take Southern State Parkway to EXIT 20 South.
Take Grand Avenue South.
Go past McDonald’s and make the first left:
go to end of street and turn left.
